Recruiting talented employees that drive business success are key strategic challenges that company leaders must be ready to address with thoughtful plans and organizational readiness. Today's recruiters must act as consultants, be hiring visionaries, and contribute as strategic business leaders. They also know more about competitors, the labor market, and HR trends. Most importantly, they know who the key players are, what their goals are, and how to help them achieve those goals.

This track will focus on critical areas to help leaders and practioners to think about talent acquisition as a critical component of the strategic planning process - and a driver of bottom-line results. When recruiting is linked to business strategy, the results are significant. The recruitment function moves from a reactive role to a proactive position that can take the lead in creating and implementing human capital strategies.
